A bit about MomoKO 2.0

For those of you who have been following me since my days at SaxtonSolutions, you know we had a little pet project, or I should say, I had a little pet project there. She is a simple, easy-to-use, easy-to-expand Content Management System known as MomoKO. MomoKO 1.5 was released months ago and we are nearing the release of MomoKO 1.6, but what I want to talk about is MomoKO 2.0.

The versions mentioned previously used a type of hybrid between files stored on the file system and data stored in a database. 2.0 aims to change this as well as incorperate new features. 2.0 will be entirely database driven. Everything will be stored there whenenver possible. I am really excited for this new version and its features. I will keep you up-to-date as I near milestones.

Currently 2.0 is still in alpha and we don’t recommend it for daily use, but if you are a developer and would like to help us with this wonderful project, head over to our github or email me to find out how you can help!
